Regrets in The Myth...

The great thing about those online movie streaming programmes, is that you can not worry about boredom whenever you get home too early. Side-effect though, is that you get a tad over-dosage of movies.

Last night, I watched this movie "The Myth" for the second time. I had seen this show sometime ago and I'm not sure if I had blogged about it, for I'm experiencing some deja vu right now as I'm typing. This is a show that had received mediocre reviews. But for me, this is one of those haunting ones that stick on in your head even weeks after you have seen it.

After some analysis, I may have the reason. This show has got lots of lingering regrets. What regrets?

How the loyal, valiant general was ultimately killed by the traitors. How he would place his call of duty over the princess. How Jacky Chan wouldn't claim/grasp that he was the general reincarnate? How the princess would choose to stay on for the dead general. It doesn't help that the princess is so pretty.

I don't think regret is the right word to use. But it just seems appropriate.

Regrets. Things do not seem to end where they should be.

I think these guys may also feel the same way for the show.
