A Lush Night...

Amazing how fast one can have a change of heart. I'm so fickle, I hate myself sometimes. Apparently, over the weekend, I... have converted to Lush 99.5FM as my Official Radio Station of Preference.

Its so addictive and soothing that I have not been able to tamper the frequency on da tuner.

Sensual. Groovy. Jazzy. I'm so in love.

For certain reasons, this station reminds me of the chill-out lounge, Balcony, beside Heeren. And in the forever-inspiring setting sun, I concocted this iterniery for a weekend evening.

2100 hrs - Participants to have showered and perfumed. Assemble at "Place of Choice" for a nice dinner and wine.
2359 hrs - Mid-night movie of Choice, preferably at Orchard Cineleisure.
0230 hrs - Adjourn to chill-out session at Balcony (Open 24hrs/7days)
0530 hrs - To catch sun-rise at Changi/ECP.

Now, for kakis to do that with...

I also watch Singapore Idol too, U noe?... =p

Today, I ta bao some Ee Mee for dinner and while at it, I "accidentally" turned on the TV and voila!, Singapore Idol was just about to start. Since I had not seen a single episode of this singing competition franchise, I decided to stay seated and see what everything is all about. The hype created by the show and excellent publicity ensured that I recognise at least 2 contestants, Paul Twohill and Jonathan Leong.

Now, the good thing about coming into the show at this late stage, is that you don't have to cringe on your sofa. All four finalists were entertaining, but I think Dick Lee will win. Just joking. I think Jonathan will nap it. He seems so cool, great singing and he just can't seem to do anything wrong in the judging panel's eyes(ears). But if I were to place a wager, I wouldn't put any Greenback's on him. The odds(payout) will be too low. And if the First Rule of soccer punting is anything to go by, in order to win moo-lah, you should bet to lose. I'll probably put my "Yusok Bin Ishak"s on Paul Twohill. I wonder if Ladbrokes accept such bets.

I like the first song that Jonathan sang. This is the one.

Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol
We'll do it all
Everything
On our own

We don't need
Anything
Or anyone

If I lay here
If I just lay here
Would you lie with me and just forget the world?

I don't quite know
How to say
How I feel

Those three words
Are said too much
They're not enough

If I lay here
If I just lay here
Would you lie with me and just forget the world?

Forget what we're told
Before we get too old
Show me a garden that's bursting into life

Let's waste time
Chasing cars
Around our heads

I need your grace
To remind me
To find my own

If I lay here
If I just lay here
Would you lie with me and just forget the world?

Forget what we're told
Before we get too old
Show me a garden that's bursting into life

All that I am
All that I ever was
Is here in your perfect eyes, they're all I can see

I don't know where
Confused about how as well
Just know that these things will never change for us at all

If I lay here
If I just lay here
Would you lie with me and just forget the world?

So beautiful right? I love the chorus.

Those three words
Are said too much
They're not enough

If I lay here
If I just lay here
Would you lie with me and just forget the world?

Only for FLW...

I know that I haven't been blogging consistently when moments ago, I panicked when I forgot the User ID that I use for logging into my blog.

I'm never one for those 3D navigational/shooting game. After all these year and the hypes, I was never the slightest tempted to download the demo until I just saw this in Boing Boing.
